RYAN'S POST

So as I'm sitting here in Bob Jones' Mac lab, Ryan makes this suggestion: "You should write something about me." So I said "OK".

Ryan is so cool. He is the greatest. No, really- he is. He's a great artist and right now he's working on this amazing collage/piano thing. It's mega-cool. Ryan plays soccer. He's really good at soccer. Last night he scored the only goal for his team. They lost, but that's all right, because Ryan is still the GREATEST SOCCER PLAYER EVERRRRRRR!!!!!!!! And then he and another guy bonked (haha, *bonked*) heads. But Ryan was SO tough- he just got back up and started playing again. And their team lost anyway. But like I said-that's cool.

Okay, enough about Ryan. This blog is mine again. : )

No need to thank me for my unbelievable consistency--I know how great I am...........

Really, though---my most sincere apologies, I really am truly sorry

for being such an 'absent Abby' ( oh-my-goodness-I-just-made-that-up-I'm-so-incredible!!). Regardless, I can't, in all honesty, promise that anything is going to be more consistent over the next few weeks. : (

I'm still looking for a job (sigh) and was able to do some follow-up yesterday, but that was....well, honestly- a little depressing. Only one place seemed even remotely interested in giving me a chance and that was (wait for it-) Fleet Farm. The place where dreams come true!! But no complaining, because at this point it's a job, you know? : )

Maybe some child care, but I'm not real sure... No doubt there are people who would vouch for my incredible babysitting skills...... ; )

Oh and by the way?? New word for everyone: Awesomesauce.

*Gasp!* "Who is that???"

So I'm not sure what to post about, but I feel the need to post.... : )

I should say first off that I love fall----I mean, really love it--it's more or less my favorite season. I'm mega-excited for the change in weather (except maybe the snow part) and the way all the leaves change and everything just......feels new. Oh my word-how cheesy is that? Well, sorry that's how it is. ☺ I've actually been drawing lately which I haven't been doing for months (aside from the doodles, but I'm not sure if they count). And of course I've been practising ALOT. The piano....but that comes as no surprise I'm sure. And the job hunt is going well- I actually have an interview at Dunham's on Tuesday and I'm majorly hoping that comes through. ☺

Aside from that I suppose one could say that my life has been vastly uneventful of late...... ☺

Edit: I just thought I should say that the title of this post has nothing to do with anything. Just words, I guess. ☺

Impatience and Randomocity

SO while I'm sitting here waiting for something to happen ( I would make something happen, if I thought it wasn't going to rain) I figured I could post about something. I'm not sure what I should post about, nothings been going on.

I got a lot of things right with the Lord this morning, some sin issues that I wasn't taking care of.

I hope to make some Dog Food this afternoon, so that might be another post in the making-not real sure yet.

Very pleased with the amount in the bank. Never had that much money before.

I'm in the process of reading Tom Sawyer, and I have to say my favorite part thus far is when Judge Thatcher asks him the names of the first two disciples and Tom yells out "David and Goliath!" Funny stuff. ☺

Saddle Up, Kiddies!

So a few weeks ago I had this.....epiphany......................










That's right--saddle shoes.

I seem to recall having a pair many, many MANY moons ago (a.k.a.--around the time I was five), and maybe then way back in the day I didn't give them the love and respect they deserved, but now it's like..... SADDLE SHOES!!! ALL THE TIME!!! And it's wierd.

So now I'm in the market for a pair of sweet, inexpensive saddle shoes!! ; )
