"But we don't own a boat..."

So I decided to post about something important (to me):

I've been looking at buying me a pair of Sperry Topsider Angelfish slip-ons. Regular cost: 75$. Cost I would pay with the website I found and INCREDIBLE promo code: 67.50$ (and free shipping!). I am COMPLETELY in love with these shoes, and very nearly bought a pair from Journey's on my Birthday (yay for being 18!!), but-you know-my parents don't like the idea of paying 75$ (or something remotely close) for a pair of shoes. But as I pointed out-yes, you're paying for the brand name, but you're ALSO paying for EXQUISITE quality. AND it wouldn't be my paycheck money from the pride, it would be money that I've received for my birthday.

So, all that being said, I want all my readers to weigh in-my parents said if I could find 5 people who think I should get them, I can get them. So cast your votes!!

(Even if you read but don't normally comment, I beg and plead with you to vote in the 'comment' section!!)
Thanks so much!!!

Personally I have never been able to justify paying more than $40 for a pair of shoes and that includes my baseball cleets, hunting boots and my work shoes. My response to your situation is this: why do you need name brand shoes? I know you said they have great quality, but are they really that much better that everything else? In my experiance the answer to the second question is often yes to start but when you dig a little deeper you find that the cost difference does not out weigh the loss in quallity. A third question I would ask is why do you need these shoes? Doe you really need them or do you just want them to say that you have them? If you don't actually need these shoes then I would say that you should not get the shoes. There are better things to put your money towards. I know that's not what you want to hear, but you asked.

well, honestly- I have like twenty pairs of shoes, but lately I've taken to wearing just like 3-4 pairs of them on a regular basis because a lot of them are just in pretty bad shape-you know, either I've had them for several years, or they were just really cheap and I got what I paid for... I've loved these shoes for a long time, but it's just recently that I've thought about actually buying them. I don't know!! I know they would turn into that one pair of shoes that I seem always be wearing, so they wouldn't be wasted, and the quality of Sperry is there, so they'd last me for quite a while....

Go to zappos.com and see if they have them its free shipping there and back. So try them out and if you love them and can't live with out then keep them but if they are nothing special then just return them and you'll still have your money and you'll know that you didn't miss out on anything
